How to Build a Business Website in an Afternoon
Most "build a website in 10 minutes" claims quietly skip the part that actually takes time: deciding what the site should say. The building is fast. The thinking is not — unless you prepare the thinking in advance.
Before you open the builder (20 minutes)
Write down four things on paper: what you sell, who it's for, what you want a visitor to do, and how they contact you. That's it. Not a brand strategy — four lines.
The first draft (10 minutes)
Describe your business in one sentence and let Volnyn's AI build the whole site — pages, copy, images and navigation. You are not aiming for finished here. You're aiming for something concrete to react to, because editing something is enormously easier than starting from an empty page.
The real work (1–2 hours)
- Fix the words. The AI writes competent copy about your business, but only you know the thing customers always ask about. Put that on the home page.
- Replace two images. Not all of them. The hero image and one other. Real photos of real work beat anything generated.
- Check it on your phone. Most of your visitors are on one.
What to leave for later
Blog posts, a full gallery, a fancy about page. Hosting, SSL and a custom domain are already handled, so the site is genuinely live the moment you publish. Everything else can be edited next week — a live imperfect site earns more than a perfect unpublished one.
