This Privacy Policy explains how Volnyn ("Volnyn", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects your information when you use our website, applications, and services (collectively, the "Services"), including the Claw AI assistant and any features that connect to third-party accounts such as Google.

1. Information We Collect

Account information: name, email address, and credentials you provide when registering.
Usage data: pages visited, features used, device and browser information, and log data.
Content you create: websites, documents, images, prompts, and other content generated through the Services.
Payment information: processed securely by our payment providers; we do not store full card details.
Third-party account data: data you authorize us to access from connected services such as Google (see Section 3).

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide, operate, and maintain the Services.
To personalize features and improve user experience.
To process transactions and manage your account and credits.
To communicate with you about your account, updates, and support.
To detect, prevent, and address security or technical issues.

3. Google User Data

You can connect Google services to Volnyn's AI assistant from Connectors in Volnyn chat (and Gmail from Claw). Each connector asks only for the access it needs, and Google shows you its consent screen before anything is shared. What each connector can do:

Gmail (gmail.modify, gmail.send): list, search and read your emails when you ask the assistant about them (for example "summarize my unread emails"); send an email or reply you asked for; move an email to Trash when you ask. Sending and trashing always show you a confirmation first and happen only after you approve.
Google Calendar (calendar.readonly, calendar.events): list your upcoming events, and create or delete an event when you ask. Deleting asks you to confirm first.
Google Drive (drive.readonly): list, search and read your files when you ask about them (Docs, Sheets and Slides are read as text). Read-only: nothing in your Drive is changed.
Google Sheets (spreadsheets, drive.readonly): list your spreadsheets, read their values, and add rows when you ask.
YouTube (youtube.readonly): read your channel details and video list. Read-only.
Google Search Console (webmasters.readonly): read your site's search performance data. Read-only.
Google sign-in (openid, email, profile): sign you in and show which Google account is connected.

How we use it. Google data is fetched only when you ask the assistant to do something with it, and is used only to carry out that request and show the result to you. We do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to develop, improve or train generalized AI or machine-learning models.

AI processing. To answer your request, the data needed for it is sent to the AI model provider that runs the assistant (currently Anthropic, Google or Z.AI), only to generate that response.

Who can see it. Volnyn staff do not read your Google data, except when you ask us to for support, when it is needed for security (such as investigating abuse), or when the law requires it.

Storage. The tokens that keep a connector connected are stored encrypted. What the assistant reads for a request, and its reply, are saved in that chat conversation like the rest of your chat history, until you delete the conversation or your account. We do not keep a separate copy of your mailbox, calendar or files.

Sharing. We do not transfer Google user data to anyone else, except to the AI model provider for your request as described above, to comply with the law, or as part of a merger or acquisition with notice to you.

Limited Use disclosure: Volnyn's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

You can disconnect a Google connector at any time from Connectors → the connector → Manage → Disconnect, which stops all access, or remove Volnyn in your Google Account permissions. To have stored Google data deleted, delete the conversation or email us at care@volnyn.com.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only:

With service providers (e.g. hosting, payment, and AI model providers) strictly to operate the Services.
To comply with the law, enforce our terms, or protect the rights and safety of users.
In connection with a business transfer (e.g. merger or acquisition), subject to this Policy.

5. Volnyn Chrome Extension

The Volnyn AI — Browser Agent Chrome extension lets you chat with Volnyn AI in your browser's side panel and ask it to act on the page you are viewing. When you use the extension:

What is collected: when — and only when — you send an instruction, the extension sends the current page's URL, title, visible text, and a list of its interactive elements (buttons, links, form fields) to Volnyn's servers so our AI can decide the next step. Your extension token is sent to authenticate you.
What is not collected: the extension never reads pages in the background, does not track your browsing history, and does not collect keystrokes, passwords, or payment card details. Nothing is sent unless you actively send a message.
How it is used: page content is used solely to generate the AI's response and actions for your request. It is processed by our AI model providers as described in this Policy and is not sold or used for advertising.
Storage: your extension settings (server address and token) are stored locally in your browser. You can disconnect at any time by regenerating or removing your token at volnyn.com/user/extension, or by uninstalling the extension.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to safeguard your information.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.

9. Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their data.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
