Notifications
The bell in the sidebar tells you when scheduled tasks run, when an order or booking comes in, and when a creation is ready. Email alerts can be switched off in one click.
Volnyn lets you know about things that finish while you are not looking — a scheduled task that ran at 9am, a new order on your service, an image that finished generating in another tab.
Where notifications appear

The dashboard checks for new notifications every 20 seconds and again as soon as you come back to the tab, so a task that finishes while you are working shows up without a refresh.
What you get notified about

Browser notifications
The first time a creation completes, your browser may ask whether Volnyn can show notifications. Allow it if you want a system alert when a long job finishes while you are working elsewhere.
- These alerts fire only when the Volnyn tab is in the background or the window is not focused — if you are looking at the page, the bell is enough.
- They need a Volnyn tab to be open. Volnyn does not send push notifications to a closed browser.
- To stop them, block notifications for the Volnyn site in your browser's site settings.
Creation-complete notifications in the bell are stored in your browser (the latest 30). Use Clear in the bell dropdown to empty the list.
Email notifications
Open the account menu → Settings → Mail. The Email notifications switch at the top controls task updates and alerts delivered to your inbox.

Emails are not sent for runs that are only waiting for your input or that will be retried automatically — the in-app notification already covers those.
Unsubscribing from an email
Every task email has an unsubscribe link. One click turns email notifications off — no login needed — and the confirmation page has a link to turn them back on.
Emails you always get
The switch covers task updates and alerts. Some emails are not notifications and are always sent, including:
- Sign-up verification codes and password reset links.
- Purchase confirmations and invoices.
- Replies to your support requests.
Mail Volnyn (create tasks by email)
The Mail panel also holds Mail Volnyn — an address you can email to create tasks, plus workflow addresses and a list of approved senders. That is about sending work to Volnyn, not about notifications. If inbound mail is not connected on your platform yet, the panel says so.
FAQ
I'm not getting scheduled-task emails.
Check that Settings → Mail → Email notifications is on, and that you did not click an unsubscribe link in an earlier email. Failure emails also need failure alerts switched on for that task.
Can I get notifications on my phone?
Not as push notifications. Keep email notifications on to get task results in your inbox, or check the bell when you open Volnyn.
The same notification keeps popping up.
A notification pops up only until it has been shown once. If you see repeats, hard-refresh the page.
How do I clear the bell?
Click a notification to mark it read. Use Clear in the dropdown to empty the creation-complete list.
