Donations

Raise money for causes on your site. Create causes with a goal, suggest donation amounts, accept guest donations, and track every payment.

Donation management lets charities, schools, community groups, and creators collect donations. You create causes — each with its own story, goal, and suggested amounts — and visitors donate on your site with the payment methods you connect.

Donations are available on plans that include Donation Management.

Where to find it

Tool Address
Settings /user/donation/settings
Categories /user/donation/catgories
All Causes /user/donations
Donations (payment history) /user/donations/payment-log
Report /user/donation/report

Add ?language=en (or another language code) to manage causes in that language.

Set up donations

Open Settings (/user/donation/settings):

Setting What it does
Donation Turns donation pages on or off on your site.
Guest Checkout When active, visitors can donate without creating an account.

Turn on Guest Checkout unless you need every donor to sign up — it removes a step and usually brings in more donations.

Categories

Categories group your causes — for example "Education," "Health," or "Emergency relief."

  1. Open Categories and click Add Category.
  2. Pick the language and enter a Category Name, a short description, an Icon (click the dropdown to choose one), and a Serial Number for the order.
  3. Set the Category Status to Active, and mark it Featured if your theme highlights featured categories.
  4. Click Submit.

Create a cause

  1. Open All Causes and click Add Cause.
  2. Fill in the details:
Field Notes
Image The main photo for the cause. JPG, PNG, JPEG, or SVG.
Title The name of the cause.
Category Which category it belongs to.
Goal Amount How much you want to raise. Your site shows progress toward it.
Minimum Amount The smallest donation you accept for this cause.
Custom Amount Suggested amounts donors can click, separated by commas — for example 10,25,50,100. Each must be at least the minimum amount.
Content The story — why the cause matters and how the money helps.
Meta Keywords / Meta Description Search engine text for the cause page.
  1. Click Submit.

The causes list shows each cause's Goal Amount and Raised Amount so you can see how close you are.

Track donations

Open Donations (/user/donations/payment-log) to see every donation:

  • Donor Name, Email, and Phone
  • The Cause and Amount
  • Payment Method and Transaction ID
  • Payment Status
Payment status Meaning
Pending Waiting for payment — usually an offline method such as a bank transfer.
Success Paid.
Rejected Declined.

For offline payments, check the donor's Receipt Image, then change the status to Success. Search by Transaction ID to find a specific donation. Delete entries one at a time or several at once.

Donations report

Open Report (/user/donation/report) to list donations between two dates (From and To) and filter by payment status and method. Click Export to download the list as a spreadsheet.

Tips

  • Use a real photo and a specific story. "Buys 40 school books" works better than "Support education."
  • Set a realistic Goal Amount. A cause that's close to its goal gets more donations.
  • Offer three or four Custom Amounts, with the middle one being the amount you most want.
  • Post updates on your blog and link them to the cause.
