Editing your site with chat

Once a site is built, the same chat box changes it. You do not start over and you do not open a code editor — you say what should be different.

How editing works

After a build finishes, your next message is treated as an edit to the site that is open, not as a request for a new one. Ask for a change, the builder applies it, and the preview updates.

You can keep going as long as you like. Each instruction builds on the site as it stands.

Write instructions the way you would to a person

Good edits name what to change and where:

• "Make the header dark green."
• "Add a FAQ section under the pricing table."
• "Change the hero text to 'Freshly baked every morning'."
• "Add a contact page with a form and a map."
• "Remove the testimonials section."

Whole pages are fine as a single instruction. "Add an about page", "create a shop page", "add a login page" all work — the builder knows what those pages normally contain and fills them in.

When Volnyn asks you a question

Most instructions run straight away. You will only be asked something back when acting blind would risk doing the wrong thing entirely — for example:

When that happens you get at most two short questions with tappable options. It is a quick confirmation, not a form.

The fix is usually to add a noun: "change the button colour to blue" instead of "change the colour".

One change at a time reads better

Two conflicting asks in one message ("make it minimal but add lots of animation") will slow things down. Send them as separate instructions and you will see each result before deciding the next one.

Pushing edits live

Edits change the project you are working on. To update what visitors see, publish or rebuild so the hosted snapshot refreshes — see Publish your Volnyn site.

Your live URL stays the same across republishes, so links you have already shared keep working.
