Pages, menus and sections
Shape a template site: switch its theme, arrange home page sections, build the navigation menu, add custom pages, and set your logo, colors, footer, and other site-wide details.
A template site is made of a theme plus your content. The theme decides the layout. You decide what goes in it — which home page sections show and in what order, what the menu links to, and which extra pages exist.
This page covers the tools for template sites built from the gallery or a blank canvas. For AI-built sites, ask the assistant for changes instead — see Editing your site.

Most of these tools are opened by their address rather than from the site sidebar. Bookmark the ones you use often. Pages that hold translatable text accept a
?language=code, for example/user/menu-builder?language=en.

Edit visually
The quickest way to change text and images is the visual editor. From your sites list click Edit Site, or open /user/site/edit. The site opens on a canvas where you click an element to change it.
Use the dashboard forms below when you want to manage structured content — menus, pages, sliders, and site-wide settings.
Home page sections
Reorder sections
- Open Section Manager (
/user/site/sections). - Drag sections up or down in the list, or use Move up / Move down.
- Watch the preview update.
- Click Save Order. Use Reset to go back to the theme's default order.
Turn on Enable Edit Mode to edit the section content in the preview frame.
Show or hide sections
- Open Sections Hide/Show (
/user/sections). - Set each section to Active or Deactive.
- Click Update.
The list depends on your theme. A shop theme lists sections such as Slider, Category, Flash Sale, Top Rated, and Newsletter. A portfolio theme lists About, Skills, Portfolio, Testimonials, Team, and so on.
Section titles and text
Home Sections (/user/home-page-text/edit) holds the title, subtitle, and button text for each home page section — for example the blog section title or the "View all portfolios" link text. Pick the language at the top, edit, and click Update.
Hero section
The hero is the large banner at the top of your home page. Depending on your theme, it is a slider or a static banner.
- Slider version (
/user/home-page/hero/slider-version) — click Add Slider, then set the title, subtitle, button name and URL, image, and serial number (the order it appears). Shop themes can also build product sliders from items you select. - Static version (
/user/home-page/hero/static-version) — one banner with title, subtitle, buttons, and image. - Some themes also have Background Image and How It Works steps for the hero.
Recommended hero image size is 1920 × 1010 pixels.

Menu Builder
The Menu Builder controls the navigation bar on your site. Each language has its own menu.
- Open Menu Builder (
/user/menu-builder?language=en). - Under Pre-built Menus, click Add to Menus next to a page you want in the menu — for example Home, Shop, Blog, Services, Portfolios, Team, FAQ, Gallery, Contact, Rooms, Courses, Causes, or Career. Only pages your plan supports appear.
- Your custom pages are listed too, so you can add them the same way.
- To link anywhere else, fill in Add/Edit Menu:
- Text — the label visitors see.
- URL — where it goes.
- Target — Self opens in the same tab, Blank opens a new tab.
- Icon — optional; click the dropdown to pick one.
- Drag items in Website Menus to reorder them. Drag an item under another to make a dropdown.
- Click Update Menu.
Changing the language at the top loads that language's menu. Build a menu for each language your site offers.
Custom pages
Custom pages are available on plans that include Custom Page.
Create a page
- Go to
/user/page/create(Create Page). - Pick the Language.
- Enter a Name (used in menus), a Title (shown on the page), and the Body.
- Optionally add Meta Keywords and Meta Description for search engines.
- Click Submit.
Manage pages
The Pages list (/user/pages) shows every custom page. From there you can:
- Edit or Delete a page, or select several and delete them together.
- See each page's URLs — the subdomain, path-based, and custom domain versions.
Add a new page to your navigation with the Menu Builder.
Contact page
Contact Page (/user/contact) sets what visitors see on your contact page:
- Form title and subtitle, and a contact form image
- Address — put each address on a new line to list several
- Phone numbers and email addresses — separate several with commas
- Map latitude, longitude, and zoom
Messages sent through a template site's contact form go to the email you set in Subscribers and email.
Footer
- Footer Logo & Text (
/user/footer/text) — footer logo, background, footer color, the "about company" text, newsletter text, and copyright text. Set these per language. - Quick Links (
/user/footer/quick_links) — the link list in the footer. Click Add, enter a title, URL, and serial number (order).

General settings
General Settings (/user/general-settings) holds:
- Website Title — shown in browser tabs and search results.
- Dashboard Language — the language your dashboard pages open in.
- Currency settings — base currency text and symbol, where each appears (left or right of the price), and the rate against 1 USD. The shop, courses, rooms, and donations all use this currency.
Change theme
- Open Themes → Our Themes (
/user/theme/version). - Preview a theme and apply it.
- Optionally let AI write starter content for the new theme. Enter your business name, industry, and a short description of the business, and choose whether to delete the previous theme's data or keep it.
Your Themes (/user/theme/your-themes) lists themes you have used, and Community Themes (/user/theme/community) shows themes shared by others.
Each theme shows a different set of sections, so check the home page after you switch.
Tips
- Use Section Manager to try a new order with the live preview before you save.
- Keep menu labels short — one or two words fit better on phones.
- Upload a square favicon (for example 512 × 512) so it stays sharp.
- Test custom CSS on one element at a time. A broken rule can hide parts of the page.
FAQ
I added a page but it doesn't appear on my site. Custom pages are not added to the menu automatically. Open the Menu Builder and add it.
Why don't I see a section my friend's site has? Sections depend on the theme. Each theme offers its own set.
My menu is empty in another language. Each language has its own menu. Switch the language in the Menu Builder and build that menu.
Can I undo a theme change? You can switch back from Themes at any time. If you chose to delete the previous theme's data when you switched, that content does not come back.
