Add extra features to your template site: turn on built-in integrations like Google Analytics, reCAPTCHA, WhatsApp chat, Tawk.to, Disqus, and the Facebook Pixel, activate add-ons from the Plugin Marketplace, and place ads.

Plugins connect your site to outside services and add features your theme doesn't have on its own. There are two places to find them:

• Built-in plugins — ready-made integrations you switch on and paste a key into.
• Plugin Marketplace — add-on modules and themes you activate per site.

Both are available on plans that include Plugins.

Where to find it

Built-in plugins

Open Plugins (/user/plugins). Each plugin has a status switch (Active / Deactive) and one or two fields. Fill them in, set the status to Active, and click Update.

Include the country code in your WhatsApp number — for example +44 7700 900123, not 07700 900123.

Plugin Marketplace

The Plugin Marketplace (/user/plugin-marketplace) lists add-ons your Volnyn platform offers. Each card shows the plugin's name, description, type (plugin or theme), version, and whether it's free or paid.

Activate a plugin

1. Open Plugin Marketplace.
2. Find the plugin and click to activate it. Free plugins activate straight away.
3. To switch it off later, use the toggle on its card (keeps its settings) or deactivate it (removes it and its settings).

Paid plugins can't be activated from the dashboard yet. You'll see "Paid plugins require a purchase. Please contact support." Contact Volnyn support to buy one.

Plugin settings

Open a plugin's Settings to see About this Plugin and set its options. Some plugins can run on their own address: enter a Module Domain, or leave it empty to use your site's primary domain. Click Save Changes.

Marketplace themes

Some marketplace items are themes. Choose one as your Active Theme to change how the plugin-powered parts of your site look.

If the marketplace is empty, no add-ons have been published on your platform yet.

Advertisement

Show ads on your site to earn from your traffic. Open Advertisement (/user/advertisement/settings).

Google AdSense

1. Enter your Google AdSense Publisher ID and click Update Settings.
2. Click Add Advertisement, choose the Google Adsense type, pick a size, and enter the Ad Slot from your AdSense account.

Your own banners

1. Click Add Advertisement and choose the Banner type.
2. Pick a size — 300 × 250, 300 × 600, or 728 × 90.
3. Upload the Image (JPG, PNG, JPEG, or SVG) and enter the Redirect URL where a click should go.
4. Click Save.

Ads appear in the ad spots your theme provides, such as on course and gallery pages. The list shows how many Views each ad has had.

Tips

• Turn on Google reCAPTCHA as soon as your site has a contact or quote form. It stops most spam.
• Use either Tawk.to or WhatsApp as your main chat, not both — two chat bubbles crowd the screen on phones.
• After adding a tracking ID, visit your site and check the service's real-time report to confirm it works.

FAQ

Why don't I see the Plugins pages? They're available on plans that include Plugins.

Do I need Google Analytics if Volnyn has its own analytics? No, but you can use both. Volnyn's analytics works without setup; Google Analytics adds Google's reports and ad integrations.

My reCAPTCHA shows an error on the site. Check that the site and secret keys belong to the same reCAPTCHA project, and that your site's domain is listed in that project.

How do I remove a plugin? Set a built-in plugin to Deactive — its keys stay saved for next time. For a marketplace plugin, use the toggle to switch it off and keep its settings, or deactivate it to remove it from your site completely.
