vCards and QR codes

Create digital business cards (vCards) that visitors can save straight to their phone contacts, and design custom QR codes that point to any web address.

A vCard is a one-page digital business card on your site: your photo, contact buttons, services, projects, and testimonials — plus an Add to Contact button that saves your details to the visitor's phone. The QR Builder makes branded QR codes you can print on cards, menus, flyers, and packaging.

Create a vCard

  1. Open Add vCard (/user/vcard/create).
  2. Choose a Template — pick one of the ten card designs.
  3. Fill in the card:
Field Notes
vCard Name Your internal name for this card, so you can tell cards apart.
Profile Image and Cover Image Your photo and the banner behind it.
Name, Occupation, Company Name Shown at the top of the card.
Email, Phone, Address, Website URL Contact details. Include the country code in phone numbers.
Introduction A short line about you.
Direction Left to Right or Right to Left for languages such as Arabic.
  1. Click Submit.

Your plan sets how many vCards you can create. When you reach the limit, the dashboard tells you.

Build out the card

From the vCards list, open Manage on a card to add more:

Section What you add
Information Extra contact rows (you can also add these under Other Information when you create the card), each with an Icon, Color, Label, Value, and optional Link — for example Skype, a second phone, or office hours.
About An about text and a Video Link (the embed URL of a video).
Services Services with image, title, short details, an optional External Link, and serial number.
Projects Projects in the same format as services.
Testimonials Client name, comment, Rating (1 to 5), image, and serial number.

Preferences, colors, and keywords

  • Preferences — turn sections on or off: Call, Mail, WhatsApp, Add to Contact, and Share buttons; and the Information, About, Video, Services, Projects, Testimonials, and Enquiry Form sections.
  • Colors — set the base color, the summary background, and a color for each button and icon.
  • Translate Keywords — change the fixed words on the card (such as "Services" or "Add to Contact") into your own language or wording.

Share your vCard

The vCards list shows each card's URLs — the subdomain, path-based, and custom domain versions. Share whichever suits your plan. Visitors who tap Add to Contact download your details straight into their phone's contacts.

QR Builder

Make a QR code

  1. Open QR Builder (/user/qr-code).
  2. Enter the URL the QR code should open. The code updates in the Preview as you design it.
  3. Style it:
Option What it does
Color The color of the code. If phones can't scan it, choose a darker color.
Size The image size.
White Space The margin around the code.
Style Square or Round dots.
Eye Style Square or Circle corner markers.
Type Default for a plain code, Image to put your logo in the middle, or Text to put a word in the middle.
  1. For Image, upload the logo and set its size and horizontal and vertical position. For Text, set the text, its color, size, and position. If phones can't scan the code, make the image or text smaller.
  2. Click Download Image to save the QR code.

Save QR codes

Click Save QR Code and give it a Name so you can find it later. Saved codes are listed in Saved QR Codes (/user/saved/qrs), where you can preview, download, or delete them.

Click Clear to reset the builder and start a new code.

Tips

  • Always test a QR code with two different phones before you print it.
  • Keep strong contrast: a dark code on a light background scans best.
  • A logo in the middle looks great, but keep it small — around a fifth of the code.
  • Use one vCard per person on your team, each with its own QR code.

FAQ

What happens when someone scans my vCard QR code? Their phone opens your vCard page. From there they can call, email, message you on WhatsApp, or tap Add to Contact.

Can I change a vCard after I've shared it? Yes. Edits show up at the same address right away, so printed QR codes keep working.

Can I make a QR code for something that isn't on Volnyn? Yes. The QR Builder accepts any URL.

Why won't my QR code scan? Usually the color is too light, or the logo or text in the middle is too big. Use a darker color and a smaller image, then test again.
