Wallet

One Volnyn balance shared across the platform: add money by card, pay for your plan with it, receive refunds, and collect what you earn selling services.

The Volnyn Wallet is a single balance tied to your account. The same balance is used by the main app, the Services marketplace and other Volnyn apps, so money you add in one place is available in the others, and refunds and earnings all land in the same spot.

What you see

Part What it shows
Current Balance What is in your wallet right now, in USD.
Filter Show All transactions, or only Deposit, Payment, Earning or Refund.
Deposit Opens the Deposit Funds window.
Wallet History Every transaction, newest first, with Gateway, Type, Amount, Date and Status. 15 per page.

If you have no transactions yet, the history says No Transactions Found.

Transaction types

Type Money Example
Deposit In You added funds by card.
Payment Out You paid for a plan or an order from your balance.
Earning In A buyer approved your delivered order; your share after commission.
Refund In Money returned to you.

Add money

  1. Open /user/wallet and click Deposit.
  2. Enter an amount, or tap a quick amount: $25, $50, $100 or $500. The minimum is $1 and the maximum is $50,000 per deposit.
  3. Enter your card details (Card Number, Expiry Date, CVC).
  4. Click Deposit.

The card is charged through Stripe in USD. When it succeeds you see Successfully deposited with the amount, the balance updates, and a Deposit row appears in your history.

If card payments are switched off on the platform, you see Payment gateway not available.

Spend from your wallet

  • Plans — at plan checkout, Wallet appears as a payment method (with your balance) whenever your balance is above zero. The plan is only activated, and your wallet only debited, once the purchase succeeds. If your balance is too low you see Insufficient wallet balance. Please deposit funds first.
  • Marketplace orders — when you hire a freelancer from a job proposal, the payment window shows your Wallet Balance.

Orders placed with Order now on a service page, and paid bookings, are charged by card through Stripe rather than from the wallet.

Money coming in

  • Refunds — if a seller declines a new order or cancels one in progress, the price of a fixed-price order goes straight back to your wallet. See Orders.
  • Earnings — when a buyer approves work you delivered, the order price less the platform commission is added to your wallet. The Earnings tab in Space → Services shows each amount. See Orders.

Withdraw earnings

Sellers request withdrawals from their seller wallet in the marketplace (/services/seller/wallet/history), which also lists your withdrawal history. The withdrawal methods and any limits are set by the marketplace administrator.

Tips

  • Top up before you check out if you want to pay for a plan without a card.
  • Filter by Earning to see just your sales income.
  • Check Current Balance after a seller declines an order — the refund is added to it straight away.

FAQ

Is it the same wallet in the marketplace and the main app? Yes. One balance, shared across Volnyn.

What currency is my wallet in? USD.

Can I pay for a service order from my wallet? Service-page orders and paid bookings use card checkout. Plans, and hiring from a job proposal, can use the wallet.

How long does a deposit take? It is added as soon as the card payment succeeds.

My deposit failed — was I charged? If the card was declined you see the reason and nothing is added or charged. If you think you were charged without a deposit row appearing, contact support with the date and amount.

Where do refunds for cancelled bookings go? Cancelling a booking does not refund automatically. Contact support for a paid booking. See Bookings.
